Grow food. Grow minds.

Every student a grower, a food scientist and a young custodian of nature. Grow microgreens and herbs on your desk, keep a crop diary, and learn the science from seed to plate.

From age 6. Part of NanoSkool: one sign-in for every NanoSkool app.

A farm on your desk

Pick a crop, choose soil, a microgreens tray or water, and sow. Farm Lab knows when it should sprout and when it'll be ready, and gives you a short care list each day.

A Farm Coach that helps you think

Ask why your seeds haven't sprouted, share a photo of a yellow leaf, or check a pH reading. The Coach reads your own grows, explains, and suggests what to look at next. It never diagnoses for certain and never recommends chemicals.

FarmQ: see yourself grow

Milestones for your first seed, first sprouts, first harvest and first compost. A FarmQ profile across twelve areas, from soil science to food safety, with knowledge and practice shown separately. No scores, no rankings.

From seed to plate, and back to the soil

Every grow follows the twelve stages of the farm-to-fork cycle.

  1. 1DiscoverExplore the plant, its seeds and where it comes from.
  2. 2DesignChoose the crop, the growing method and the conditions.
  3. 3PrepareGet the tray or pot, the growing media and water ready.
  4. 4PlantSow the seeds or set the cuttings.
  5. 5ObserveMeasure, photograph and note what changes.
  6. 6NurtureWater, feed and care for the plants.
  7. 7HarvestCheck it is ready and harvest safely, with clean hands and tools.
  8. 8AnalyseWhat did you grow? How much, and what is in it?
  9. 9Prepare foodWash, sort and store the harvest.
  10. 10CookMake something simple with it, with an adult for anything sharp or hot.
  11. 11ShareServe it, share it and tell someone what you learned.
  12. 12RegenerateCompost what's left, save seeds and start again.

Made for classrooms

Teachers make a class, share a code, and see every student's grows and milestones. No leaderboards that rank children.

Safe by design

Parents give consent before photos or AI. No medical data, no ads, no selling data. Adults handle anything sharp, hot or chemical.

Circular thinking

Compost what's left, save seeds and start again. Students learn that nothing in nature is wasted.

“A desktop farm that becomes a living laboratory. A harvest that becomes a lesson.”

Questions

Do we need special equipment?

No. A tray, some coco peat or soil, seeds from the market and a sunny window are enough to start. A Farm Box or any ESP32 with sensors can send readings automatically later, but it's optional.

How old does my child need to be?

Students can join from age 6. Under 18, they can grow, keep a diary and learn straight away; plant photos and the AI Farm Coach open once a parent links and gives consent, or the school records that it holds consent.

What does the Farm Coach do?

It reads your child's own grows and diary, explains what's happening, and suggests one small next step. It describes plant photos with how sure it is, never diagnoses, and never recommends pesticides or chemicals. It can draft a diary entry, which your child confirms.

Is my child ranked against others?

No. FarmQ shows knowledge and practice separately as levels, never a single score, and there are no leaderboards. A slow or failed grow is treated as data from an experiment, never as failure.

What does it cost?

Farm Lab is free while we pilot it with families and schools. Later, Farm Lab Plus (₹999 a year per family) adds more Farm Coach questions and photo space; everything else stays free.
